  • Games may start up to 30 minutes early.

  • One batting cage is available. Teams will also be permitted to use the large diamond to warm up.

  • All games will take place on the small diamond (west) at Haughton Park in Greenup.

 

Game Rules:

  • 46’/65’ for pitching mound and bases

  • Pool play games are 6 innings. No new inning after 90 minutes. Games may end in a tie

  • Bracket play are 6 innings. No new inning after 90 minutes. Ties will be resolved using the international tie breaker rule.

  • Championship game is 6 innings, with no time limit.

  • Leading off is allowed

  • Home plate is open

  • Infield fly is in effect

  • Bunting is allowed

  • 9 Defensive players, with 3 outfielders.

  • Teams may choose to play the entire roster with free defensive substitutions

  • Teams may choose to bat 9, with the option to utilize a DH for one defensive player.

  • Those 9/10 players are permitted to change defensive positions. Any defensive player or DH substituted from the game is ineligible to return. Substitutions must be reported to the umpire.

  • One warning per pitcher on balks. Balks will be lightly enforced. (Blatant balks or balks that lead to an out for the offensive team.) Umpire has discretion on balk enforcement.

  • Courtesy runners are allowed for the pitcher and catcher. (if batting whole lineup, last recorded out is base runner. If batting 9, a substitute runner must be used.)

  • Run rules in effect. 12 after 3; 10 after 4; 8 after 5
