2025-26 Junior Pirate Basketball

We will be having 4th and 6th grade boys basketball teams this year. All 4th and 6th grade boys are welcome to join.

4th Grade:

Practice 2-3 times a week
Season starts December
Season ends March
Practices last 90 minutes
20+ games will be scheduled
If we qualify, we will participate in the Illinois Middle School State Championship in Bloomington March 20-22

6th Grade:

Practice 4-6 times a week
Season starts November
Season ends February
Practices last 90 minutes
20+ games will be scheduled
Head Coach: Roy Clapp

The practice schedule will vary based on the availability of gym time. We will play home games at Cumberland, and travel to other schools. Each player is responsible for their transportation to and from games. The program will cost $75 per player. The player fee will cover the costs of uniforms, insurance, tournament fees and referees.
